Actress opens health facility

ACTRESS Lynda Bellingham cut the ribbon at a mental health facility on Swallownest.

Lynda, who is an ambassador for mental health charities, officially opened Swallownest Court.

The facility includes a new adult psychiatric intensive care unit and section 136 facility and refurbished accommodation for rehabilitation and recovery.

The official opening marks the completion of the construction phase of a £20 million modernisation project by Rotherham Doncaster and South Humber NHS Foundation Trust, in partnership with NHS Rotherham and Rotherham Council, for adult and older people’s mental health services in Rotherham.
