A1 southbound closed after crash near Elkesley

The incident happened between a Chevrolet and Corsa around 9.21pm.

The 22-year-old female driver of the Corsa was taken to Doncaster Royal Infirmary with minor injuries and later discharged.

The 27-year-old male driver of the Chevrolet was taken to the Queen’s Medical Centre in Nottingham with minor injuries and subsequently discharged.

Four of his passengers, a 54-year-old woman, a 22-year-old woman, a 18-year-old woman an 11-year-old girl, were also taken to the QMC with serious injuries.

The B6387 Ollerton Road and A1 southbound slip road was closed and re-opened around 1.28am.
