A TASTE of Scotland came to a Worksop care home.
Staff and residents enjoyed a special Burns supper at Forest Hill Care Home, complete with piper and haggis.
They enjoyed haggis, neeps and tatties in keeping with the Burns theme as well as a mince beef cobbler and treacle sponge.
“This is the first year we have held the event and everyone absolutely loved it,” said Sue Bestwick, activities co-ordinator at the care home.
“We decorated the room blue and white to match the Scottish theme.”
“After the lunch we had drinks and shortbread. We also sang Auld Lang Syne which was written by Robert Burns.”
