The keepfit celeb - real name Derek Evans - was approached by St Augustine's Primary PE teacher Ryan Littler as a way of getting kids moving at home.

Ryan told how “nice bloke” Derek agreed straight away - hosting the session to fundraise for the homeless as part of the Mr Motivator Charitable Trust.

On Monday at 9.30am St Augustine's will link up with five other Bassetlaw primary schools – as well as others in South Yorkshire for the live Zoom session.

“This will be a nice memory for kids, teachers and parents.”

Ryan told how on the day all taking part will be encouraged to dress up in their most garish workout gear as part of the fun - paying homage to the great man’s colourful jumpsuits.

PE teacher Ryan said: “It’s hard at the moment - we do PE with keyworker kids at school but this allows everyone to take part.”
