Worksop: Symphonic Wind Orchestra to start new season of Music at The Crossing

The new season of Music @ The Crossing starts next month with a performance from the Nottingham Symphonic Wind Orchestra.

Making their first visit to the Worksop venue, the orchestra will be presenting their Stage & Screen Spectacular with popular themes from West Side Story, The Sound of Music and Star Wars amongst others.

The orchestra’s new patron Martin Ellerby, a composer well-known to Worksop music lovers, also hopes to be in the audience.

David Jordan, concert organiser, said: “We’re really looking forward to hearing the sound of a large wind orchestra, especially as we move towards the start of our 10th anniversary year.
