WIN! Tickets to see top ELO Tribute band

The ELECTRIC Light Orchestra Greatest Hits show, performed by a top tribute act, is once again on the road - and we have two tickets to give away.

Over 40 years ago, an idea conceived by Birmingham musician Roy Wood, resulted in the formation of a band known as the Electric Light Orchestra, aka ELO.

This band, taken over and nurtured by Jeff Lynne, became one of the most remarkable success stories in pop music history.

Between 1972 and 1986, ELO enjoyed 26 top 40 hits in the UK and 20 top 40 hits in the United States.

The fantastic songs and arrangements have stood the test of time and incredibly, still sound like modern productions.

Now, tribute act The ELO Experience perform all the hits in a two hour show. Expect to hear all your favourite ELO songs, expertly recreated and sounding just like the arrangements you know.

You’ll hear legendary anthems such as Wild West Hero, Hold on Tight, Shine a little Love, Confusion, It’s a Living Thing, The Diary of Horace Wimp, Sweet Talkin’ Woman, Telephone Line, Don’t Bring me Down, Turn to Stone and of course Mr Blue Sky.

The ELO Experience will be at Lincoln Theatre Royal on Friday 21st October.

Tickets are £18.50 and available by calling 01522 519999 or by visiting www.lincolntheatreroyal.com.

To be in with a chance of winning a pair of tickets, just answer this simple question: Q) What do the letters ELO stand for?

Send your answer with name and daytime telephone number to: ELO Competition, 5-7 Market Place, Gainsborough, DN21 2BP or email [email protected]. Entries should arrive by Wednesday 19th October.

Normal competition rules apply.
