Carlton Main Frickley Colliery Band is currently ranked the number 10 Best Brass Band in The World and for the fourth year in a row - and this year they will be representing Yorkshire at the Royal Albert Hall in the National Finals.

The band have made over 200 BBC broadcasts, appeared on television many times, performed at many of the top UK venues and have toured Europe on several occasions.

Over the years the band have accompanied many legendary artists - including Paul Robeson, Cleo Lane, Julian Lloyd Webber, Nigel Kennedy and who can forget Tony Capstick with Capstick Comes Home which reached number three in the hit parade.

Carlton Main Colliery Band will be playing at The Theatre Royal, Lincoln, on Sunday 29th January.
