WIN! Tickets to DN21’s production of Joseph

The community drama school will perform Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice’s Joseph and his Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat for their summer term production from Wednesday 4th to Saturday 7th July.

The cast of 30 talented youngsters have been rehearsing hard since January and ready to hit the stage with their classic story of Joseph and his 11 brothers, taking you on a journey of love, betrayal, brotherly rivalry and fun.

Full of memorable songs – Any dream Will Do, Close Every Door, Go, Go Joseph you are assured of a colourful night out.

Tickets for the 7pm show from 4th-7th July are priced £7.50 adults and £5 for children, and can be bought on the night or by calling 01522 869061.

The DN21 Stage Academy is a Community Drama School based at The Old Nick Theatre in Gainsborough.

Company spokesman Ian Ganderton said: “We encourage children from 4 to 16 to learn skills in acting, singing and dance.”

“Some of our children have learning difficulties, some need to gain social skills and confidence and some just want to perform.”

He added: “Without local support we can’t keep going. The show is a fun filled, toe tapping colourful musical extravaganza. The children have worked really hard even painting pictures for the scenery so come along and enjoy Joseph.”
