The concert, held at the North Notts Arena, Eastgate, is back by popular demand said club president Bill Maddison.

“The first one last year was so well received that people asked for us to put another one on,” he said.

“It was very sucessful so hopefully this one will be too.”

The two bands will play together and will end with the song from the Last Night of the Proms.

Director of The Notts Band of the Royal Engineers (Volunteers), Simon, has been a professional music director of brass bands, wind bands and choirs since 1991 and commenced their musical and military activities in July 2007.
