WIN! Pair of tickets for Lord of the Dance

THE international dance phenomenon Lord of the Dance returns to Sheffield next week.

The Guardian has three pairs of tickets to give away to lucky readers to watch the show created by Michael Flatley.

Lord of the Dance is coming to Sheffield City Hall on Tuesday 27th, Wednesday 28th and Thursday 29th March.

Having captivated audiences around the world since 1996, Lord of the Dance has now been seen by over 60 million people across the globe and has shattered box office records worldwide.

This show makes another debut, with an electrifying reinvention of the production for 2012.

Audiences both young and old will be enchanted by state-of-the-art lighting, pyrotechnics, spectacular multi-media set design incorporating video screens, elevated platform effects and striking new costumes.

This masterfully orchestrated production of precision dancing combined with a musical score that leaves no soul untouched, will thrill theatres across the UK.

From the moment the lights go down to the last encore, the audience is taken on a magical, mythical journey inspired by Irish folklore and expressed through the universal language of music and dance.

The story unfolds of the Little Spirit, travelling through time to help the Lord of the Dance protect his people from the challenge of Don Dorcha, the Dark Lord.

As this evil dark force challenges the hero, an incredible adventure ensues.

With more than 150,000 taps per performance, the Irish dance spectacular promises to wow British audiences yet again with its breathtaking footwork and dazzling music.

Producers are promising a great night out for all the family so make sure you don’t miss out on the spectacular.

The show is on at 8pm each night and there is also a matinee performance at 2.30pm on Wednesday.

Tickets are £30.50 and £35.50 for evening performances, and £25 for the matinee performance.
