Trinity Arts Centre’s new season programme boasts loads of great movies - and The Gainsborough Standard are giving YOU the chance to see them all for free.

On Friday 6th January they’ll be screening The Help, starring Emma Stone and Viola Davis.

When a Missisipi girl returns from college in the 1960s, she turns her town upside down through a series of revelations about the black women who have spent their lives as servants.

Then on Friday 13th January comes the latest incarnation of kids’ classic The Adventures of Tin Tin, directed by Steven Spielberg - where Tin Tin and Captain Haddock set off on a treasure hunt for a sunken ship.

Kenneth Branagh, Judi Dench and Michelle Williams star in My Week With Marilyn on Friday 20th January.

Based on the recollections of an eager young man who became involved with Marilyn Monroe in 1957, this highly-acclaimed comedy drama is said to be a delight from start to finish.

Kicking off February will be the latest adaptation of Wuthering Heights by Andrea Arnold.

Starring Solomon Glave and Kaya Scodelario, this is said to be the most realistic adaptation on film of Emily Bronte’s classic novel.

Arnold has aimed for total authenticity - with wind, rain and tragic passion as Heathcliff and his elusive Cathy roam the moors in search of eternal love in a powerful and uncompromising vision.

Continuing the adaptations, Trinity Arts will be screening Terence Davies glorious return to form on Friday 10th February with his rendition of the well-known 1950s play The Deep Blue Sea.

Based on a tale about a judge’s wife who becomes involved in a self-destructive love affair with a younger man, the film superbly manages the difficult trick of capturing the past yet remaining emotionally up-to-date.

February ends with a showing of recent hit blockbuster The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo.

Starring Daniel Craig and Rooney Mara, this thriller is the story of a crusading journalist who sets out to find a missing woman, aided by a fesity computer hacker with troubles of her own.

Films in March include The Iron Lady, The Ides of March and WE - with many throughout the year to be announced soon.

All cinema tickets at Trinity Arts Centre are £3.50-£4.50.
