WIN! Family ticket to wrestling in Creswell

BIG brawlers and tough guys are heading to Creswell as a local lad makes his return - and we have two family tickets to give away to lucky Guardian readers.

Ultimate Wrestling Entertainment is a Professional Touring company presenting American style Wrestling events all over the UK - and they’re coming to Creswell.

Hometown hero Paul Coulter aka Nasty Boy Riley will also be a featured bout.

Paul has been training with UWE for a year and is preparing for his debut match back in Creswell - something that he is very much looking forward to.

“I lived in Creswell for pretty much all my life until about two years ago,” said Paul, 29.

“Coming home to fight will be brilliant - it’s one thing to go away and learn something and make something of yourself, but to be able to come back and show your peers is really special. It means a lot.”

He continued: “I just love the whole show of wrestling and the atmosphere and getting involved with the crowd.”

Ultimate Wrestling Managing Director Bradlee Taylor added: “Paul has been training with UWE for a year now and we thought it would be a great reward for him to return to his hometown to face the champion.”

“We also really wanted to bring UWE to Creswell because we know there’s a great history of wrestling around there and we just want to do something for the community and to see as many people as possible down there enjoying themselves.”

UWE’s two hour family-friendly event at The Social Centre on Elmton Road will see five bouts with an over the top rumble to finish the night - emulating WWE as seen on TV.

Nottingham’s UWE Champion Paul Malen will be facing Creswell’s

Also in action will be Grimsby hard-man Mick Romeo as he takes on Cumbria’s Brutus Pain. Corby’s Alexander Croft will face Crusher Brannigan and Bully Boy Carter faces Doncaster’s Kid Dynamo.
