Test drive a Segway
WHEN reporter Andrew Trendell was offered the chance to test drive a Segway - how could he refuse?
During an open day at Sheffield Aero Club at Netherthorpe Airfield, Dave Smith from Segway UK was on hand to give demonstrations on the futuristic two-wheel vehicles.
As you can see from the video above, our reporter was a little apprehensive about stepping onto a Segway at first, but soon found his balance and got the adrenaline pumping as he reached top speeds.
Segways can now be test-driven at numerous locations around the region - including Go Ape and even Clumber Park.
