Swan Lake on way to Sheffield

Moscow City Ballet is to perform in Sheffield with an exquisite and powerfully emotive performance of Tchaikovsky’s Swan Lake.

Appearing at The Lyceum for six days from from Tuesday 11th - Sunday 15th January, the production promises to be a magical must-see for ballet-lovers of all ages.

Audiences will see opulent costumes, lavish sets and a live orchestra in an attempt to capture the hearts of spectators.

Swan Lake tells a tale of an evil sorcerer who turns Princess Odette into a Swan then condemns her for life to the lakeside.

Love struck Prince Siegfried is captivated by Odette’s beauty and a battle to defeat wickedness commences.

Directed by ex-soloist of Bolshoi Ballet’s Victor Smirnov-Golovanov, Moscow City Ballet’s is highly acclaimed.
