And he’ll be bringing with him his powerhouse 17-piece Big Swing Band for a night of vintage hit tunes from the charts of yesteryear, with a programme of exciting and entertaining chart-toppers by famous bands from the ever-popular Glenn Miller, Duke Ellington, Kenton, Dorsey and more, through to the contemporary jazz style of Gordon Goodwin.

In the band there are four trumpets as well as Steve, plus four trombones, five saxophones, string bass, piano, guitar and drums.

And complimenting it all is glamourous Etta James-style singer, Christine Scott.

Steve steps into the spotlight to play show stopping solos by past stars like Harry James, Eddie Calvert and Louis Armstrong.

On top of that, he also sings some stylish Sinatra and comperes the evening.

The show is on Saturday, May 7 at 7.30pm and tickets are £15 on 01427 676655 or www.trinityarts.co.uk
