The Blyth Players are back on stage this week with Willy Russell's Stags & Hens '“ The Remix.

Stags & Hens is a boozy comedy of wedding-eve nerves, set in a tacky night club where Dave and Linda, unbeknown to each other, are holding their respective stag and hen parties.

Stag Dave is already the worse for wear after a mix of curry and alcohol.

Meanwhile, Linda’s friends can’t understand why she wants her hen night in such a ‘dive’.

This sharply observed play then turns into a bleakly funny and perceptive study of working class misogyny.

The play is on from Thursday, May 19 to Saturday May 21 at Barnby Memorial Hall in Blyth at 7.30pm each night.

Tickets are £7 on 07784 916250, [email protected] or Ticket Source – see www.blythplayers.org

Please note: This play contains strong language and adult humour and is unsuitable for children.
