Performer lands her dream role

Like all girls, Jennifer Horsefield has dreamed of being a princess.

That dream will finally come true when she appears as Cinderella in Croft House Theatre Company’s production of the musical Into The Woods at Sheffield’s Lyceum Theatre.

Into the Woods tells the story of fairy tale characters such as Little Red Riding Hood, Jack and the Beanstalk and Rapunzel and combines their journeys giving them a deeper meaning and creating back story to the tales accompanied by Sondheim’s music.

Jennifer, who lives in Chesterfield, said: “I have been performing for many years now but I have always wanted to play this part. It is one of my all-time favourite shows and I am so excited and a little nervous about playing it in such a great theatre with such great people”

Into the Woods runs from March 1 to 5 at 7.15pm with a Saturday matinee at 2pm. Tickets from £12. Contact 0114 2496000 or visit www.sheffieldtheatres.co.uk
