The Shack by William P. Young is the story of Mack who is angry with God about the murder of his young daughter. '¨
God should have prevented it! His wife seems to be getting on with life: he, however, is losing touch with his family. His anger and grief are suffocating him. He then has an encounter with God while he is in a coma following an accident. He is shown that being so judgemental does not work and that God is with all sufferers and does care and love.
