Jesus performs the miracle of feeding the crowd, to show he is God but also because they were hungry.
Many Worksop youngsters receive a free meal each school day, greatly helping family budgets. Holidays put a strain on these budgets and some of our community, probably parents, will go hungry. Many already support the foodbank but demand outweighs the supply. Could you follow Jesus’ example and give to a collection point? It doesn’t have to be a brand or a treat, simply something that will help feed another. Even better, hope and work for the day when a foodbank is no longer needed.
