Soon you will see posters and media adverts for Christian Aid Week 2018, one of the most enduring ways that Christians support communities overseas.
The door to door collections still happen in some streets, but you might encounter collectors at Asda too. We have been having terrible weather, or so it seems, but nothing like the extremes of Haiti, still recovering from hurricanes. Money collected from Worksop this year will go direct to building homes there. Jesus praises those who give cheerfully and sacrificially.
