One’s home is one’s castle:
This saying often means that one’s home is their refuge where one can do as one pleases. It is important that we are able to have our places of rest and safety where we can be true to ourselves. However, it is not in the exalting of the self we are complete. It is in God that we find our true selves, it is in him we are fulfilled, renewed and refreshed. I pray that you will allow God to work in your life, your home, and be to you a rock, a fortress, your salvation, refuge, shield, safety and salvation (Ps 18:2).
