Opera from Glyndebourne screened live in Gainsborough
Shakespeare meets opera in Gainsborough in Beatrice et Benedict live from Glyndebourne.
Love conquers all in Berlioz’s sparkling take on Shakespeare’s Much Ado About Nothing.
Berlioz selected the sunniest and funniest elements and set them to music to create this witty love-hate duel.
The Glyndebourne Festival is one of the world’s premier opera festivals and Gainsborough audiences can enjoy it at Trinity Arts Centre with this live screening.
The showing is on Tuesday, August 9 at 6.30pm.
