New EP for Chasing Wilson

A Gainsborough band taking guitar music back to its grass roots will release their brand-new EP next month.

The post-punk/indie four-piece will launch their debut record It Never Rains in Richmond on 13th July at the Blues Club.

Chasing Wilson, which comprises Alistair Topping (lead vocals), Sam Gosiewski (lead guitar), Jim Beecroft (Bass Guitar) and Rufus Biddle (drums), say the six-song EP is an observation on youth issues today.

Said Sam: “The message is to not judge young people before getting to know them.”

“We’re really excited about the launch next month and our up and coming gigs this year.”

The band, which formed in September 2011, are already gaining a following and will support Taking Hayley on 7th September in Sheffield.

The four-piece say they intend on ‘making your gran sing’ with their catchy riffs and jazzy baselines.

Fans will be able to get a free copy of their EP at the 7pm gig in Gainsborough on 13th July - entry is £1.
