Mark and Mary Easterbrook have launched the Pheasantry Brewery, together with a restaurant cafe bar, in renovated barns on their farm.
The brewery and restaurant recently received a glowing five star review from the Worksop and Dinnington Guardian.
Mark Easterbrook said: “We were delighted that Patrick was able to officially open the Brewery, recognising the importance of rural businesses like ours to the local economy.”
He continued: “We have used local suppliers where possible, including ABUK at Misterton for the brewing equipment, and our architect, Guy Taylor Associates of Newark.”
Mark added: “We have found records showing that the farm had a brewery in the late 17th century, so we are proud to be restoring the tradition of brewing to the farm.”
