Gainsborough: Legendary sound of the Snake Davis Band at Trinity Arts

An instrumental solo can break hearts, lift spirits, even change lives in extreme cases.

Saxophone is the favourite instrument for many folk, and for good reason.

The saxophone, in the right hands, is so emotional, so passionate it sings, screams and whispers.

Joined by Gareth Moulton (Cutting Crew) on vocals, Snake Davis and his band will present more than 20 saxophone d-driven classics, including Baker Street, Careless Whisper, Still Crazy after all these Years, Respect, Yakety Yak, and some of Snake’s own solos from Million Love Songs, Moving on Up, Search for the Hero, and Lisa Stansfield’s Change.

The night will also see Snake and the band revealing some of these numbers background and history as well as playing them in context.
