Extremely good fun up high

When we first got to Aerial Extreme it looked a bit small but this was deceptive because the course is quite long and took us about an hour and a half to get all the way round.

We thought it was good for all ages but you need to have good balance and not be afraid of heights to get the full enjoyment out of it.

The course starts at three metres high and ends at 14 metres. This is where you have to take a leap of faith and jump off a platform to get to the ground.

It’s not like a bungee jump though, because the wire is controlled as you get near the ground.

When we got to the end we were asked if we wanted to have another go and we all said yes straightaway.

Alex, 14, said: “I think that it was very scary, but once I’d done it the first time, the second time was easy! I’d definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to do it.”

Emily, 12, said: “Although there were a lot of younger children going round even I thought some obstacles were pretty challenging. My best one was the leap of faith at the end and my scariest was the rock climbing wall near the beginning. The hardest was one where we had to walk across a rope with big blue obstacles swinging in the way.”

Oliver, eight, said: “I enjoyed all of it. I wasn’t scared even when I was up high. I was worried I might fall on the rock climbing wall but I would like to do it again.”
