Everton Players indulging in funny stuff with Inland Revenue and a '˜Picasso'

In a plot full of twists and turns, Tom Lambert a botanist and TV gardening personality, has an unexpected one-night stand with Lucy.

Shortly afterwards he receives a call from the Inland Revenue.

As the plot unravels and the ‘Picasso’ vanishes, it then turns out Tom’s ex-wife and accountant, Sarah, has been rather economical with the truth about his earnings

Tom’s friend Albert, a pub entertaininer, has also been equally cavalier about his own tax affairs.

The arrival of two tax officials causes panic.

How Tom attempts to extricate himself from this financial tangle provides sparkling moments of bluff and double bluff in this highly entertaining comedy.
