Christmas markets and fairs give shoppers the opportunity to stock up on unique gifts for family and friends.
From large-scale events at stately homes to compact gatherings at village halls, there’s a wealth of places you can buy your gifts.

5. Matlock
Matlock's Hall Leys Park will be hosting Matlock Christmas Market on December 21 and 22. This year's event includes a Roller Disco, over 150 stalls, fun fair, roller skating rink, birds of prey, Elvis, Reel productions, churches together service, bag pipes, organs and much more. The Garage in Chilwell, near Beeston, will be hosting its Christmas market every Sunday from November 24, to Sunday, December 15, from 10am to 2pm. The Garage Market brings together some of the highest quality of craft, vintage, home, garden, and food and drink as it is transformed into a sprawling urban market hall full of passionate independents.
