The pandemic may be ongoing but there is a light at the end of the tunnel, with 50,000 people in the district now given at least their first vaccination jab.
This achievement is in big part due to volunteers who help keep the operation running smoothly, so here we take a moment to shine the spotlight on them and thank them for their kindness.

A busy day at Larwood vaccination centre for Sandra and Gail.

Volunteers go out of their way to help residents get their jabs safely come rain or shine. Gio DiCabria is pictured out on the job in a downpour.
These ladies were based inside the centre helping the smooth passage of patients through the process. They said: "Another great session with lots of happy patients!"
