This year’s production is a modern twist on a classic tale including our the group’s very own fairygodmother.com (Catherine Hughes) who uses an iPad rather than a magic wand to create her magic, all with the help of Buttons (Tim Smithson).

The story is based around the traditional tale of Cinderella (Poppy Dennison) who is hounded by her two ugly stepsisters Gorgan and Zola (Ashley Wingham and Andrew Dawson) who attempt to put every obstacle in her way from preventing her to go to the ball to meet the prince (Abbie Rodgers), who is aided by his loyal friend Dandini (Lauren Stimpson).

Of course there mishap and mayhem along the way in the form of the two bailiffs Snatchit and Grabbit (Tim Snell and Steve Abbott) who need to collect rent arrears from Cinderella’s father Baron Hard-up (Robert Dunkerley).

This modern tale is full of modern songs and slapstick comedy that all the family will enjoy, and a spectacular transformation of the pumpkin into a nine-foot long Cinderella carriage.

The show is from December 9-13 at 7pm (Wednesday to Saturday) and 2pm (Saturday and Sunday)

Tickets are £10 and £8 from Trinity Arts Centre on 01427 676655 or Barnes Jewellers in Gainsborough.
