Prime Minister Boris Johnson will announce his ‘roadmap’ out of lockdown this evening, with the four stages over the coming months expected to be outlined.

This will include the reopening of schools on March 8, and a gradual return for socialising, outdoor team sports, such as football and tennis, and non-essential shops.

He is also expected to outline when pubs, restaurants, theatres and nightclubs will open – along with hotels, and big events, such as public sports events and music festivals.

The Prime Minister will address the nation tonight at 7pm.

When will he address the nation?
