The coronavirus crisis and its three lockdowns have been difficult at times and unbearable for some in Worksop and beyond.
One thing’s for certain, the challenging events of the past year have us feeling more grateful than ever for those special people in our lives on whom we can always rely to make us smile.
This week, as we mark a year since the country first went into lockdown, we’re shining the spotlight on them with people across the town sharing pictures of their treasured families, work colleagues, friends and pets.
If you didn’t see your picture here, we've featured as many as we can in this week's Worksop Guardian. Remember to pick up your copy, out today!
In these confusing and worrying times, local journalism is more vital than ever. Thanks to everyone who helps us ask the questions that matter by taking out a subscription or buying a paper. We stand together. Sam Jackson, editor.
