Young and old enjoy a special festive tea
Reception class children from Ranby House School in Retford welcomed retired residents from Charter Court for a special festive tea.
The event was organised by reception teacher Adam Newton who firmly believes in the benefit of bringing the generations together.
He said: “For children, it helps develop their social skills, teaching them to slow down, to listen and to be patient, while for older people, many studies link social interaction with decreased loneliness, as well as physical benefits.”
