A roasting good success
THE DELICIOUS smell of roast pork, roast potatoes, and a selection of seasonal vegetables, all locally produced in Lincolnshire, wafted across Normanby by Spital Primary School as they tucked into some tasty as part of National Roast Dinners Day.
School administrator Caroline Vernall said: “Thank you to all who attended our Roast Dinner Day.”
“We served over 50 meals to members of the local community, bringing the total including our pupils and staff to well over 100.”
“This ensured the event was a great success and it was good to see everyone sitting together and enjoying a delicious meal.”
Mrs Vernall added: “Well done to Mrs Looker for cooking for so many!”
