We have gathered the Worksop and Bassetlaw area infant and junior schools which have been rated from ‘outstanding’ to ‘inadequate’ by Ofsted inspectors in 2022.
Inspectors from education watchdog Ofsted visit schools across England to ensure the educational institutions are performing well and preparing pupils for further education and life in a community.
Each school is given a rating – outstanding, good, requires improvement, or inadequate.
Below is a list of those Worksop and Bassetlaw primary schools which were given an inspection in 2022.

Following a two-day inspection in May, the school was praised for its "calm and purposeful atmosphere", and how children enjoy coming to school and spending time with their friends. Ofsted said that pupils "relish opportunities to help each other. Pupils say that staff are friendly and supportive. They say that school is a ‘safe place’. Behaviour is positive. 6. Sir Edmund Hillary Primary and Nursery School, Kingsway, Worksop - Requires Improvement
Having previously been rated as requires improvement in 2021, Ofsted inspectors carried out a monitoring visit in July which found the school leaders and governors were taking ‘effective action’ towards the school becoming ‘good’. Ofsted said: "Senior leaders are taking decisive steps to improve the quality of education. They have rightly focused on prioritising improvements in early reading. Pupils who are behind are catching up with their peers. Pupils speak enthusiastically about their learning during topic time." Photo: Google
7. Sutton-Cum-Lound CofE School, Portland Place, Sutton-Cum-Lound - Good
Ofsted said, after a two-day inspection in March: "Pupils are proud of their small village school. They enjoy coming to school and get on well with each other. One pupil summed up the views of many when they said: ‘Sutton is a nice school. Everybody knows each other, teachers respect us. We like being with our friends.’ Pupils said that they are happy and feel safe. They know that they can go to any adult in school for help or guidance at any time." Photo: Google
