Premium manufacturer Butternut Box say their ambition is to become ‘an employer of choice in the area’.

The company has taken out a 15-year lease on the 151,388 sq ft industrial unit at Symmetry Park - where it will be based.

The unit - owned by logistics development company Tritax Symmetry - comes with office space, ‘generous’ parking for Butternut Box employees and a Starbucks and KFC on-site.

Butterbox, which has been running for four years, currently operates two separate sites for manufacturing and distribution.

However Symmetry Park will enable them to create an in-house, end-to-end, operation.

They say the central location - just off Junction 34 of the A1 (M) - is also critical for distribution around the UK.
