Dessert chain moves into new Mansfield store with plans for one in Worksop

A successful dessert chain has opened a new store in Mansfield – and planning its next in Worksop.

After the success of its first branch in Rotherham in 2015, Moo Lab Desserts have gone from strength to strength and opened its new store earlier this month.

Offering a menu of desserts such as cheesecakes, milkshakes and brownies, Moo Lab opened on December 9, offering free milkshakes to the first 100 customers.

The new Albert Street location in Mansfield makes number six of the dessert chain, with a seventh store planned for Worksop early in 2021.

Directors Tim Lee, Kai Chan and Crystal Lau have high hopes for the new business despite the pandemic. It one of a number of new businesses coming to Mansfield despite the financial uncertainty of life during lockdown.

Tim said: “Each store has done really well, so we’re hoping for more of the same for Mansfield.

"We started off with our first store five years ago to earn some extra money and it really took off, so now we’re all full time and planning more stores in the future – Worksop is already in progress and is planned for opening early next year.

"Feedback on our social media pages suggests that people are excited for us to be opening in Mansfield, so we’re hoping we’ll be really busy.

"We deliver up to five miles from our store on Albert Street or people can visit us for takeaway.”

It is open seven days per week, for takeaway or delivery, from 5pm until 10.30pm.
