The 37,500 sq ft superstore - expected to bring 180 new jobs to the town - comes with a petrol station and a dazzling choice of takeaway food options.
It will be one of the first Asda stores with a new ‘Kulaba Kitchen’ - serving Indian-inspired streetfood dishes and snacks such as Kulaba chicken wings coated in ghost chilli chutney.
As well as Kulaba Kitchen the store will house a sit-in Greggs cafe, a Panku pan-Asian streetfood kiosk, a hot pizza counter and large George clothing and home department.

Bassetlaw District Council leader Simon Greaves described the store as ‘exactly the investment the area needs’.
He said: “This has been a site that as an authority we’ve wanted to see brought back into use for many years - it’s a key gateway for the town and a fantastic location on the A57.
“Let’s not forget that this investment has a knock-on positive impact on other sites along the A57 as well.
“Smaller businesses will see other other investment and expansion opportunities come forward as a result.
“This is not just about Asda - the jobs and opportunities it will bring after such a long time will be brilliant.”
The store was originally scheduled to open in early 2020 and more than 100 staff were recruited at the time - however the opening was delayed due to the pandemic.
All those recruited at the start of the year were deployed to other local Asda stores.
Asda Worksop store manager Craig Loveday said: “We recruited over a hundred colleagues at the start of the year and I’m proud to say nearly all of them are still with us.
“They’ve been working in stores across the region, serving customers throughout Covid and making a brilliant contribution to store and home shopping teams.
“I want to say a huge thank you to them for everything they’ve done – their dedication has been amazing.
“We can’t wait to welcome people when we officially open on October 19.”
