The new 20,000 sq ft facility is situated just off the A1 and will support local truck operators and fleets, by offering service, MOT, parts, and repairs at a new workshop with three high bays for all makes of vehicles.

The site will also provide sales support for new and used vehicles.

The opening of the new site will service customers in Worksop, Retford, Ollerton and Newark being just two minutes from the motorway.

This is the first time that local operators of Renault Trucks and other HGVs and LCVs will have a local facility on their doorstep, with service to help reduce the downtime for their fleets. The manager of the new site is Chris Turner, dealer point manager, who has worked for RHCV since 2018.

He is looking forward to opening the new site next month, and added: "We're had some great feedback from local hauliers already and we're looking forward to opening.

"But we are still recruiting for top class local technicians to support what we know will be huge demand."

Six new roles will be created initially in Tuxford, with many more over time and the team is still looking for experienced HGV technicians.

Nigel Baxter, managing director at RHCV, said: "This new facility will allow us to give a first-class service to existing Renault Truck operators, and of course open up opportunities for new business in this area."
