You’re invited to Lincolnshire artists’ studios

Visitors can meet the artists, see their creative work up close and gain an insight into how it is produced.

There are 22 studios opening to the public across West Lindsey alone, many of which are in Gainsborough and the surrounding villages.

Their work spans a wide range of media including painting, textiles, sculpture, furniture, calligraphy, picture framing, print making, stained glass, blacksmiths and drawing.

Why not visit Julie Willoughby whose textiles, sculpture and drawing is inspired by nature, architecture and historical events. Her studio is at 16 Edward Road, Gainsborough.

Or Peter Skilton at Manor House, School Lane, Snitterby, whose painting is described as loose, expressive and colourful.
