World premiere at the home of snooker

Multi award-winning actor Richard Wilson is to direct a world premiere at Sheffield's Crucible Theatre.

New comedy thriller The Nap, which stars Jack O’Connell from television’s Skins, focuses on a snooker player who faces the biggest week of his life but everyone wants a piece of him - his ex-con dad, a gangster and the snooker corruption squad.

Best known as television’s Victor Meldrew, Richard has previously directed a touring production of Playing the Victim for Sheffield Theatres/ Traverse/Royal Court Theatre.

The Nap runs from March 10 to 26. Tickets are priced from £20.
