Her fascinating programme will comprise not only works by Bach, Schumann, Peeters, Hollins and Franck but also the intriguingly-titled Mozart Changes and Peter Planyavsky’s Toccata Alla Rumba.

Francesca took up her Durham Cathedral post in 2011 wher, as well as playing for the Cathedral’s daily services, she accompanies the choir in concerts, tours, broadcasts and recordings.

At the age of just 19, she won all the top prizes in her FRCO diploma, subsequently holding organ scholarships at St George’s Chapel, Windsor at Cambridge University and at Manchester Cathedral before becoming assistant director of music at Peterborough Cathedral.

Her debut solo album is to be released on Priory Records this year.

The music starts at 7.30 (doors open at 6.45pm).

All tickets are £8 and available now from The Crossing’s Welcome Desk, by calling 01909 475421 or by emailing [email protected]
