The concert also brings the Electronic Wind Instrument (EWI) to The Crossing for the first time as well as the traditional saxophone and piano.

Royal College of Music professionals Alistair Parnell (saxophones and EWI) and Phillip Robinson (piano) formed The Parnell Phil in 2010.

They each bring a wealth of musical experience to draw on in styles from baroque to jazz.

Their aim is to rediscover music that is often well known but to present it in either a new arrangement, or with a new combination of instruments.

Their Worksop concert is on 16th May at 7.30pm.

Tickets are £9 (£8 concessions, £4 under-16) from The Crossing welcome desk, on 01909 475421 or emailing [email protected]
