HAVE a Hoot on us by entering this great competition for a free pair of tickets to the Hoot Comedy Club in Gainsborough.

The popular comedy night celebrated its fifth birthday earlier this year, and is still going strong with a stellar line-up of stand-up for you this month.

On Thursday 12th July at Trinity Arts Centre, regular compere Elliot J Huntley introduces an Edinburgh Festival preview double bill.

Chris Ramsey is described as a ‘brilliantly engaging natural story teller’ and ‘breathlessly entertaining’.

Unquestionably the fastest rising new act on the UK comedy circuit, Chris has supported Al Murray on his UK theatre tour as well his own sell-out solo show.

He has a slew of television credits, like 8 out of 10 cats, Never Mind The Buzzcocks and Celebrity Juice.

Chris will preview his forthcoming Edinburgh show Feeling Lucky.

Hoot’s second performer will be Alfie Moore - described by Rhod Gilbert as ‘fascinating and funny’.

Telly watchers will have seen him on screen in ITV’s stand-up competition Show Me The Funny.

Alfie draws hilarity from his 18 years serving as a police sergeant providing lots of belly laughs.

Tickets to Hoot Comedy Club on 12th July are £6 advance, £7 on the door. Doors open 7pm for 8pm start.
