This delightful and often deeply touching play charts the personal journeys of four women who sign up to become Land Girls.

They work endless, backbreaking hours on farms across the country to do their best for the war effort.

But how will these women, hailing from all different walks of life, torn from their families and bereft of all home comforts, deal with the hardships of farming, the pressures of war, and being outsiders in new surroundings?

Are clothes full of mice and loo rolls falling from the sky what it takes to get these girls through?
