WIN! Tickets to see Paloma Faith concert

The captivating Paloma Faith will perform a spine-tingling gig on the outdoor stage near Worksop later this year.

The Brit Award nominated singer-songwriter announced a series of seven concerts in spectacular woodland locations this summer as part of the Forestry Commission’s Forest Live series.

And she will be coming to Sherwood Pines, near Edwinstowe, on Saturday 15th June 2013.

Paloma follows in the footsteps of legendary rockers Blondie who announced their 14th June show last month.

Speaking about her Forest Live dates and her Brit nominations, Paloma Faith said: “I’m really excited about these shows. It’s going to be a great experience so I hope you will be able to join me on my woodland adventure this summer.”

Paloma is nominated for best album and best British female in next week’s Brit awards.

Audiences are in for an enchanting night of glossy retro-inspired pop and performance on 15th June.

Paloma’s popular hits include Stone Cold Sober,Upside Down, Picking Up the Pieces, 30 Minute Love Affair, Just Be and her enchanting cover of Never Tear Us Apart.

Forest Live is an independent programme organised by the Forestry Commission bringing music to new audiences without commercial branding or sponsorship.

Income generated from ticket sales is spent on improving the local forests for both people and wildlife.

With everything required for a great night out, including full catering and bar facilities, the gigs are renowned for their relaxed atmosphere.
