Hit show Room on the Broom is flying into town as part of a national tour, direct from a West End season.

This Olivier Award nominated production, which will be staged at Chesterfield’s Pomegranate Theatre, tells the story of a friendly witch, her cat and three lovable animals who take to the skies on a broom and face a fearsome dragon in this magical, musical adventure.

With enchanting puppetry, original sing-a-long songs and scary fun, Room on the Broom is ideal for families with children aged three years and up.

Room on the Broom is created by the critically acclaimed theatre company Tall Stories - a creative force whose credits include The Gruffalo, The Gruffalo’s Child, Emily Brown and The Thing, The Snail and The Whale, The Snow Dragon and My Brother The Robot.

The cast of lovable characters are led by Yvette Clutterbuck as the Witch, with Emma Maclennan as the Cat, David Garrud as the Dog and the Frog, Daniel Foxsmith as the Bird.

Room on the Broom is directed by Olivia Jacobs.

The production will be staged at the Pomegranate Theatre from Thursday, July 30 to Saturday, August 1 with performances at 1.30pm on the Thursday and 10.30am and 1.30pm on the Friday and Saturday.
