Aesop’s Touring Theatre Company’s delightful production invites youngsters to join the half-baked hero on his adventurous journey in search of somewhere better.

The Gingerbread Man meets a whole host of funny characters along the way, but soon realises that not all of them are quite as friendly as they first appear.

Finally, our champion learns the very important and age-old lesson that there is no place quite like home.

Their shows focus on fun and entertainment, with a good deal of music and interaction with the children.

They aim to educate young audiences through the powers of theatre and imagination while encouraging children to question and think for themselves.

“We’re delighted to welcome back Aesop’s Theatre Company, who presented The Gingerbread Man at The Acorn four years ago to a sell-out audience of delighted youngsters and parents,” said Craig Hawes of The Acorn Theatre.

“With its sparkling songs, magical music and audience participation, this show is designed specifically for young children and is sure to capture their imaginations.”
