The Wibbley Brothers Go Weird was launched in 1982 on the hardcore/punk label Rondele whose owner Alan Campion ran a record shop in Mansfield. Copies now sell for £100 on eBay.

Trubshaw’s Astonishing Records is to reissue the album as a limited edition vinyl LP, CD and download this Saturday, April 18.

Trubshaw’s director and original co-producer Guy Jackson said: “If you were looking for a left-field missing link between the Bonzos and Half Man Half Biscuit, this could be it.”
