Whitwell: All routes lead to the Boot for Route 66
Route 66 are playing live at the Boot and Shoe in Whitwell on 14th March.
The band have been on the road now for 25 years and in that time they have played around 1,000 gigs from big festivals to the smallest pubs.
They have gigged relentlessly around the area for the past 15 years at venues like The Leadmill as well as numerous pubs.
This month’s gig will be their first at The Boot and Shoe.
“This area is always been a favourite of ours, good music loving people who like a good time,” said singer Ian.
Admission is free and the gig starts at 8.45pm.
